Linton Zoological Gardens Zoos

This famous wildlife centre was opened in 1972, and the zoo is continuously expanding as more of the world's threatened species are taken on board their land - based Ark. Set in 16 acres of beautiful gardens with plenty of picnic areas and a children's play area. There is also a coffee shop and gift shop (restricted winter opening hours).

There is lots to interest everyone with a wealth of rare and exotic creatures including tigers, lemurs, african lions, snow leopards, lynx, tapir, binturongs, zebra, porcupines, snakes and many others.

Free car and coach park, plenty of picnic areas. Voted 'Best for Kids 2003'. We are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The times vary according to the time of year, last admissions are 1 hour before closing
