The £25 million London Aquarium is the first attraction of its kind in the capital, and is one of Europe's largest exhibitions of global aquatic life, displayed in over 2 million litres of water. The London Aquarium combines education, relaxation and entertainment through a multi-sensory voyage of discovery through the rivers, lakes and oceans of the world.

Nowhere else in London can visitors come face-to-face with sabre-toothed sharks, encounter a frenzied piranha feed, and stroke friendly rays and starfish. Witness everything from the beautiful riches of the coral reefs and the Indian Ocean to the dark depths of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. On your trip you will see over 350 different species including eels, sharks, piranhas, rays, jellyfish, clownfish, tangs and many more...

There are exciting new developments at the London Aquarium! Four new displays are opening in 2005! New to the London Aquarium will be octopus, jellyfish, a tidal mangrove display and a re-developed European freshwater display featuring brown trout. New Octopus Display!

Our normal opening hours are from 10am - 6pm, with the last admission at 5pm, seven days a week.
