We will have opportunities for you to be photographed with them, you can buy souvenirs, t-shirts, toys and collectables from our vendors, there will be themed train rides and more.
Adult train tickets are £10; Senior (60+) train tickets £8.50. Child tickets are £6 and Under 2s are free. A family or group of 4 or more paying passengers get a 10% discount. These and other tickets can be booked online in advance at www.buzzrail.co.uk with no fees.
The standard train trip takes 80 minutes, including 30 minutes at Stonehenge Works where there is the Stonehenge Trail covering static engines and wagons, including a sand train as it would have run on the railway from the 1920s to 1970s. We have a steam loco called “Penlee” where children can climb in the cab and pretend to be the engine driver. There is also a bomb train and fire train from an RAF ammunition depot, and a logging train, as well as displays about sand quarrying and military railways.
We will also have a guided Engine Shed Show tour at Page's Park, which will include most of our steam locomotives as well as the photographic display of the line and its construction.
The craft shop at Stonehenge Works sells non-railway items as well as drinks, while the shop at Page's Park has the largest selection of Thomas, Chuggington etc. in the area. Buzzrail Cafe is open with a full menu from 1000. There are also toilets at both ends of the line.
