A practical workshop offering strictly 5 limited spaces to non-members, first come first servedThis is a practical session with props and simple lighting. You will learn how to develop great ideas and photograph them on a tabletop. The aim is to see how to use simple light sources for still life. No expensive or sophisticated equipment - just a little thought and a can-do attitude! The evening starts with a short talk to set the scene. The practical session covers four different “stations”. Each station has a different technique for Set-up, lighting and background work. Pointers to the techniques come from the introductory talk. You will also be given personal advice and help as support throughout the exercises. The evening is informal and paced to suit your needs. You are free to ask questions and make suggestions. More experienced members might like to help give advice too. Audience participation is essential to make it fun for everyone.
