Get your knife and fork ready as Eden Shopping Centre’s annual Food Fair returns on Saturday 2nd July with special guest Nadiya Hussain!
Eden, High Wycombe’s annual Food Festival is back for 2016, and bigger than ever! This year’s star act is Nadiya Hussain, who shot to fame in BBC smash hit Great British Bake Off and is now a published cookery writer as well being selected to bake the Queen’s 90th birthday cake earlier this year. Nadiya will be sharing her baking tips and performing live cookery demonstrations on stage, located outside Starbucks.
Also appearing live on stage is Ivor Peters, otherwise known as ‘The Urban Rajah’, a food writer, cook, traveller and adventurer with roots deep in the Indian Subcontinent, as well as head chefs from some of Eden’s top restaurants who will also be cooking up tasty treats for customers to try.
Shoppers can also sample delicious delights from Eden’s eateries and stock up on local produce at the bustling Farmers’ Market, which is back and bigger than ever for 2016 with a host of local artisan producers including Auberge du Chocolat and Lymn Bank Farm.
There’s plenty on offer for the little foodies with free children’s workshops including Yo Sushi’s sushi-making school, chef hat decorating and face painting, all at Kids Corner.
Once you’ve shopped ‘til you drop, relax and enjoy your foodie purchases and soak up the sights and smells of the day.
You can catch Nadiya, Ivor Peters and Eden’s top chefs cooking up a storm throughout the day.
Saturday 2nd July also sees the finals of the Big Bucks Bake Off 2016; the winner will be announced by Nadiya during the festival. Eden is still accepting entries (the competition closes at 5pm on 20th June). Visit www.edenshopping.co.uk to find out how to enter.
