Every mile you trek and every penny you raise will help us be there when a child needs us. Together we can rebuild children's lives and prevent abuse from ruining anymore.
Event Summary:
• Early morning start after a hearty breakfast
• One day challenge of cycling, trekking and kayaking
• 12km off-road, trail mountain biking in Grizedale forest
• 10km trek to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston
• 1.5km kayak around Coniston Water
This incredible adventure pits you against the spectacular landscapes of the Lake District National Park by bike, kayak and on foot!
Trek to the summit of one of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks, the Old Man of Coniston, before testing yourself on the off-road mountain bike trails of Grizedale forest, then kayak across iconic Coniston water.
The hire of all bikes, kayaks and safety equipment is included in the challenge, which includes approximately 12km of cycling, 10km trekking and 1.5km kayaking.
Enthusiastic participants can expect a hearty pre-event breakfast, as well as a celebratory buffet at the end.
What do I need to Fundraise?
After your registration fee of £29, you will have a fundraising target of £350. Do not panic! This target is very easily reached and our team will be there to support you every step of the way through your fundraising journey.
You’re target is broken down into digestible target deadlines, we will be on hand to send out fundraising materials, and to help you with great fundraising ideas!
