A craft drinks festival like no other is coming to Southend next summer, with more than 50+ craft drinks on offer!
Alongside lively demonstrations, talks, tastings and food experiences, with a line-up of big-name acts and local musicians, there really is something for everyone!Lazydays is flipping the traditional beer festival on its head to create an innovative experience like no other. A true celebration of all things craft, from local gin and tonic with the best-paired garnish, to independent Essex wine-makers, refreshing cocktails, English-apple cider and a huge selection of craft beers and lagers.
The festival will consist of four sessions across the weekend in Southend’s Priory Park: kicking off on Friday night, followed by two sessions on Saturday, and closing with an extended Sunday session. Both daytime sessions are family-friendly and will feature activities including a children’s mocktail bar, providing entertainment for the whole family.
Through expert-led beer and wine tastings, cocktail making masterclasses and captivating demonstrations and talks, the festival will exhibit independent craft drink producers and their unique production processes, sharing insight into the wonderful world of quality drink crafting.
To compliment a fine array of delectable beverages, the event will also showcase the finest selection of food stalls and craft vendors to truly fill your cup.
The music lineup is topped by some of the UK’s finest talent, including BBC 6music funk & soul DJ, Craig Charles, indie rock band, The Futureheads, BBC Radio 1xtra legend, David Rodigan and ‘90s album charting, Sleeper. More than 30 acts will be announced in the coming weeks, including a tranche of Southend’s favourite local artistes, speakers, demonstration and panel hosts.
