Tastes of Thailand
At Chang Sensory Trails, there is a story behind every bite. With signature ‘home dishes’ inspired by the head chefs of eight of the best Thai restaurants in London, the event includes a unique culinary journey inspired by a diverse range of experiences and methodologies. These home dishes will pair perfectly with Thai and will be enjoyed alongside a mix of music and art.
Some of London’s best Thai restaurants are offering their own unique take on home dishes of Thailand, designed to tantalise the senses and pair perfectly with Chang. This stellar lineup includes:
• Tawana – Moo Yang Jim Jael: Grilled pork loin, thai-style, marinated with Thai herbs and served with ground roasted rice • Bang Bang Soho – Thai-style Slow-cooked Beef Rendang: An Indonesian classic with a Thai twist! Creamy and aromatic beef with our original blend of fresh herbs and spices • Patara – Chicken Massaman: Coconut milk braised chicken in a mild homemade curry of warm spices with peanuts, onions, potatoes and crispy onion to finish • 101 Thai Kitchen – Pad Grapow Chicken: Stir-fried chicken with chillies, garlic and basil, served with steamed rice and fried egg • LAO Café – Papaya Salad Thai-Lao style: The famous Laotian salad. Spicy & zingy with a customisable level of spice • Rosa’s Thai Café – Tom Yum Noodles: Zingy & spicy rice noodles in Tom Yum-flavoured garnishes • Thai Tho Restaurant – Green Chicken Curry: Authentic Thai green curry with chicken, chilli, bamboo shoot and sweet basic • Nipa Thai – Phad Thai Koong: Fried rice noodles with beansprouts, spring onions, egg and prawns
Sounds, sights and smells
Not confined to just fantastic tastes and smells, Chang Sensory Trails will promise to be a feast for all the senses. Event goers will get to experience two fantastic up-and-coming bands, that includes the Soul Strutters and CDD Trio Band with musical performances throughout the day.
From the entrance, guests will enter an immersive experience that tells a story of Lamiat. Here guests will learn about the making of Chang beer, and the philosophy behind Lamiat through various interactive and static exhibits. Lamiat is a philosophy underpinned by a deep and authentic appreciation that it is the small things that refines and produces perfection. It is this pursuit of perfection that drives Chang.
