Have you ever wondered what stories a house would tell about its residents?Come and explore the fascinating history of 49 Great Ormond Street – one of Bloomsbury’s most historic houses. Using a lively combination of narration and vintage songs made famous by Marie Lloyd, Flanders & Swann and many others, The Good Companions will show how momentous events in London and beyond affected the property’s inhabitants and made Bloomsbury the place it is today. The house itself will serve as the backdrop, with the performance taking place in its beautiful music room on the ground floor. There will be a chance to see the first-floor drawing room, packed with original features, during the interval.
