With stylish shopping, live demonstrations, talks and tastings, Living North LIVE brings you inspiring ideas for your home and garden, great gifts, delicious food and unique accessories that you won’t find anywhere else.Visitors are invited to experience the biggest home, interiors and lifestyle event in the North East, with over 150 hand-picked local artists and designers, interiors brands, food producers and fashion retailers all showcasing their latest products and trends.
Supporting the region’s designers and makers is a key focus for Living North and we’re proud to champion the region. Celebrating the best that the North East has to offer remains at the core of our LIVE events, pulling together artisan designer makers, food producers, drinks and gift makers together with established interior and outdoor brands.
Living North LIVE also has great entertainment running across the three days, with live music every day. Highlights of this year's event include Chef Demonstrations, our LIVE Lounge, the Interiors Hall and the Great Outdoors. Some of the region’s most popular chefs, including Blackfriars (Chris Wardale), Bewicks (Kevin Mulraney) and Jesmond Dene House (Danny Parker) will be cooking up a storm in our demonstration kitchen and you can watch them in action preparing some of their favourite dishes and guiding you through some of their culinary secrets. They’ll be joined by Big River Bakery, a leading social enterprise based in Tyneside.
Our LIVE lounge will play host to a range of experts from across the region and you will be able to get advice, and learn new skills in everything from interior design to nutrition, and how to navigate mid-life successfully to making plant holders to brighten any space.
When you need to take a break from all that shopping, we’ve got plenty of places to sit back and relax. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to enjoy live music, relax and enjoy a drink with friends in our gorgeous Gin and Prosecco Garden. For light lunches, coffees, drinks and snacks head to our Spring Café, or make your way upstairs to the Brandling Bistro or the Park Restaurant for fabulous views over the Racecourse.
