The Lumineers is a folk-rock band formed back in the year 2011. The band started out by playing open mic events in Denver after which it released its first single Ho Hey. The song would soon be used in CW's Hart of Dixie season finale. The song created quite a buzz on social media websites and continued to improve the band's popularity. The band had a very sad beginning back in the year. Jeremiah Fraites, drummer had just lost his brother to drugs overdose and had to find some way to deal with the sorrow. He teamed up with his late brother's best friend Wesley Schultz and started writing songs. The two soon found more people to add to the band and released a demo in the year 2009. A proper album named The Lumineers was released in the year 2012. Their song Ho Hey received a lot of airplay and received favorable reviews from radio stations and other sources. The group is currently preparing for a tour to Britain.
