Join us to wander around a beautiful garden, enjoy tea and homemade cake, and browse a great selection of plants for saleAs you enter across the small terrace, the garden takes you by surprise, as you see it dropping down to a small pond and then rising gently into a woodland areaWalking round, there is a different theme and planting schemes full of interesting and unusual plants at each turnThere is a bed that floods in winter, planted with Iris species, and other moisture-loving plantsThe highlight in June is the roses and clematisThe shady woodland area is planted with a shrub layer of hydrangeas, rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias interplanted with a wide range of woodland plantsThere are several strategic places to sit and enjoy the peaceful garden where you can listen to an unusual number of birds and the cascade that rushes down the rockeryAs you leave the garden, notice the modern stone water feature in the front garden with a backdrop of lavenders, carnations and salviasThe rest of the front is a shrubbery and walnut tree under-planted with narcissus, alliums and hardy geraniums
