This four-day Modern Ballet spring school is for young people aged 10–12.
Students on this course will benefit from having the opportunity to creatively engage with the different styles being taught from expert tutors.
The course is practical, rigorous and aims to prepare young dancers working towards vocational dance training and will take place in one of our beautiful dance studios at the Wallace Studios at Spiers Locks.
This spring school is for young people aged 10-12 who are interested in developing their skills in classical ballet technique, repertoire and contemporary dance.
By the end of the course students should have:
Strengthened their classical ballet technique
Worked with specialists in the field of ballet and experienced a professional approach to practice
Participated in repertoire and contemporary sessions
Had the opportunity to creatively engage with the styles being taught
During the course, dancers will have daily classical technique classes and participate in masterclasses in a range of supporting subjects including contemporary dance and classical repertoire.
