'We are Scientists' are a New York-based indie rock band. Their debut album, released in 2002 was called 'Safety, Fun and Learning (in the order)' with their fifth and latest release being 'Barbara' in 2010. Mainstream success for the band came with their second album 'With Love and Squalor' which sold 100,000 copies in the first 6 months. The band also stars in their own TV short 'Steve Wants His Money'.
