Spend a relaxed and absorbing day under the guidance of artist and designer Helen Rhodes creating a rich decorative artwork telling your own
Join Helen at The Refectory Table in Loughborough for this creative workshop.Helen Rhodes' unique paintings and illustrations are instantly recognisable, combining intensely rich colours, textures and patterns with naïve compositions. Helen often creates scenes telling a tale within her images, this event will focus on how to achieve this.
In this absorbing, warm and cosy workshop you'll create a Winter themed artwork telling your own Winter's Tale. Helen will support you as you compose your image, show how to use gold and silver to best effect, and design borders to embellish your artwork.
This workshop is for a maximum of 7 people, and suitable for all abilities. As with all our events, there will be a delicious two-course lunch and plenty of one-to-one time with Helen. We ran this workshop last year and it was a fabulous success.
Venue & What’s Included
This workshop is run 10am - 4.00pm by The Refectory Table at a friendly and spacious house in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Full details and directions sent upon booking.
All materials and tools are provided.
You’ll be well looked after with refreshments all day, a home cooked two-course lunch (we cater to all dietary needs) and homebaked cake before the final session, and leave with a goodie bag full of treats.
