Caerwent Church is delighted to welcome Newbridge Celynen Brass Band and soloist, soprano Beverley Davies
The band is a non-competing, community band with great reputation for its concert work under the baton of Mike Davies. The band actively supports local charities such as Cancer Research. The ages of band members range right into the eighties but all members have one thing in common – to perform and promote good music within the community.Soprano Beverley Davies took up singing 9 years ago. Since then she has appeared with numerous Welsh choirs & ensembles. She also sings in fund-raisers for local charities. Beverley thoroughly enjoys entertaining every week at local care and nursing homes. Her programme for this concert will include songs from musicals and favourites from Shirley Bassey, Katherine Jenkins, ABBA and The Carpenters.
