A fantastic display, made by children at the Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy, working with local storyteller Nicky Rafferty.
10am-4pm // The Story Emporium delivered by AllyPallyArts.
The much-loved Story Emporium returns to the festival again this year, inviting you to their exciting new “Secret Garden” Department! In return for just a few magic beans you can get your green fingers tingling with a wonderful array of creative gardening crafts. Sow the seeds of stories, plant up plots, harvest happy endings and help cultivate a fairy-tale garden fit for a king. Perfect propagation for growing imagination! Drop in crafts are free and all ages are very welcome.
10am-4pm // Open Doors - Creative Community Connections
Arts and heritage are life-changing. Open Doors aims to inspire everyone across Newark and Sherwood through free creative activities between 2023 and 2026. During the Festival, members of Open Doors will be offering free taster sessions of disc golf. This sport is accessible, promotes a healthy outdoor lifestyle and is becoming increasingly popular in parks across the UK. Come along and challenge family and friends to see who has the best shot in this fun new sport!’

Nothing better than listening to top-notch music on a sunny summer’s afternoon! Local musician Adam Schofield will be playing all the classics, pop favourites, and songs that’ll get you dancing too!
1pm - 2pm & 3pm - 4pm // Guided Village Walks linked with Chris Mathews
Come hear about the fascinating history of the Model Villages of the Nottinghamshire in during an hour-long walk. See Bilsthorpe in a whole new light! Walks start at 1pm and 3pm and each one lasts approximately 1 hour.
