In the 90s Beth Hart had it all. A voice to die for (compared to Janis Joplin in her prime), a major label deal, fawning press - she was so popular she even contributed the song for the final episode of Beverly Hills 90210. Trust me back then this was a very big deal. Enter hardcore drug abuse and alcoholism as the icing on the self-destruction cake. Before you know Beth Hart was off the superstar radar and just desperately trying to piece her life back together. Music took a backstage to surviving and getting healthy. For many this is the end of the story. This is where it get's really interesting. Beth didn't give up on herself, she cleaned herself off and is rising like a phoenix from the ashes. How so? First a duet with Jeff Beck in memory of Buddy Holly that tore the house down at the Kennedy Center Honors Performance. Next, a new album was recorded and is due out in early 2013, titled "Bang, Bang, Boom, Boom" Finally Beth Hart is back doing what she loves best. Singing her heart out to packed grounds. She's got Europe and the U.K. on her list too. Help rejoice in her recovery from the edge! She deserves it.
