Join Milk Poetry and BBC Introducing at The Wardrobe Theatre for some real gold top spoken word as part of the BBC 6 Music Festival Fringe!A poetry night with a difference, Milk Poetry is a fun and inclusive night of wordmagic running monthly at the Halo on Gloucester Road and beyond. This special edition of Milk will bring together 10 of the best emerging artists Bristol has to offer in an audience voted poetry game show. Cheer on your teams as they battle it out to be crowned the Cream of the Crop, The Milk Maestroes, Soyperstars! It’ll be irreverant, touching, fun and all fresh. You heard it here first.
We also have two special guests who will be dropping in to lather us up with their words, our previous featured performers have included Harry Baker, Vanessa Kisuule & Sally Jenkinson so expect big things! Hosted by local poet and promoter Malaika Kegode.
