FitFest HIITS Westgate Oxford Sports

Kick-start a healthier 2018 by heading to Westgate Oxford for special classes for the mind, body and soul.

Experiences to satisfy your mind, body and soul will be taking place across the month including an exclusive pop up fitness studio and wellness zone, FitFest Oxford.

On the weekend of 20th-21st January the FitFest studio on Westgate’s Leiden Square will offer free classes including 30 minute HIIT sessions, yoga and Zumba. There is also chance to try out brand new fitness trends including Bounce, a HIIT programme devised for a trampette and Groove Aerobics, combining fun dance routines with a challenging workout for all abilities.

Alongside fitness classes there will be related talks addressing issues from yo-yo dieting to mindful eating as well as express facials, neck and shoulder massages and free health checks. For a full schedule and to book onto a fitness class or talk, visit the Eventbrite page.

After class, there are a range of options to refuel with healthy menu items including Pizza Pilgrims’ ‘Marinara’ vegan pizza, Rola Wala’s ‘Rebel ‘Spice' Bowl’, Sticks n Sushi’s ‘Spicy Miso Soup’, Comptoir Libanais’ Vegan Feast Menus, The Alchemist’s Overnight Oats or one of KuPP’s ‘Nordic Smörgåsbords’.

Blending the charm of an iconic British city with a game-changing retail and leisure experience, Westgate Oxford forms part of a perfect day out in Oxford. The brand new 800,000 sq ft destination is set in the heart of the city centre and opened its doors to the public in October 2017.

For a full day out experience, visitors can blend old and new with a trip to neighbouring attraction, Oxford Castle – Unlocked, which brings the city’s ancient landmark to life, opening a whole new perspective on Oxford. Climb the Norman Castle Mound to enjoy panoramic views from the top of St. George’s Tower, while centuries of prison life are revealed within the 18th century buildings, taking the story across 1000 years, right up to living memory. Finish off the day with dinner at the Malmaison Brasserie, set in the Castle grounds in a converted prison, the boutique hotel and restaurant is located in one of the oldest, busiest and trendiest spots in the city.
