Swallow and Home Farm Trust work in partnership with our sponsor BANES to provide services to people with learning difficulties living in the area. They encourage members to develop independence and become active in the local community.Creative fundraising in a digital age
This event will discuss fundraising in a digital age. SWALLOW a small local charity with few resources for big digital campaigns will demonstrate how digital fundraising and marketing has helped them reach wider audiences, gain attention and promote their cause.
During the evening there will be a short workshop to demonstrate how you can engage with new supporters using the creative fundraising app ELBI.
So come along, grab some refreshments made by the SWALLOW Community Café team and learn how one charity is trying to join the digital revolution.
To make the most of the event we ask that everyone brings along their mobile phone and
pre-downloads the ELBI app which is available on the app store for free.
Using technology to enhance lives
Home Trust Farm are delighted to have the opportunity to share our expertise in using technology to enhance lives. They listen to the daily challenges people face and identify personalised technology solutions that give them more independence and control - from a special plug that stops a forgotten bath overflowing to a full telecare system that keeps someone safe at home. It’s all about putting the person at the centre to find the right solution for their needs, promoting greater independence whilst providing reassurance and peace of mind.
