Celebrating Cambridgeshire and Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Enjoy family fun, learn about our county, be entertained, meet businesses and public sector organisations, support charities, see exciting displays, watch horse racing, try sports and more!On 23 June 2022, the first ever Cambridgeshire County Day will celebrate The Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen while also showcasing the very best of Cambridgeshire and raising money for charity.
With more than 6,000 attendees expected, the event will provide a wonderful opportunity for the county’s diverse and vibrant community to come together and get inspired by the best of Cambridgeshire, as local business, charities, clubs, voluntary groups and public sector organisations from every corner of the County showcase what they do and why they are great.
There will be something for everybody.
Cambridgeshire County Day is free for everyone to attend and open for everyone to enjoy and will include:
100 marquees hosting 120 of the best business, public sector, charity, community sporting and performing organisations in Cambridgeshire. Performances by bands, choirs, actors and dancers. A full day’s racing a Newmarket.
A Jubilee Garden Party hosted by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Mrs Julie Spence OBE QPM.
Numerous displays including tractors, trucks, diggers, bikes, boats, military/ emergency vehicles and a helicopter.
