Music critics and journalists across the country have been furiously typing one name over the last few months to have their say over 2012's next big thing - Azealia Banks. This twenty-year-old Harlem rapper has received great coverage after being placed third in the BBC's Sound Of 2012 poll for her lyrics and style and has been hyped as much as Lana Del Ray, making their proposed collaboration especially exciting. This excitement and expectation is probably no better expressed than with her UK tour this autumn. This is the first headline tour of the country that Azealia Banks will be embarking on - following her slot on the NME Awards tour this February - and she is booked into some respectable venues, despite not yet releasing an album.
