Assistant bank manager, newly married Peter Hunter, lives with his wife Frances in a flat above the bank. Frances innocently sends off a mail order for some Scandinavian glassware but what comes back is a veritable flood of saucy books, blue films and, eventually young women, that threaten to engulf this happy couple!
Senior bank officials, Peter’s snobbish mother and a prim, respectable bank cashier become inextricably entangled in the hilarious events that follow.
As with all farce, timing is everything – a heady combination of mounting desperation
not to mention several doors!
