Reception Visual Arts

Stryx Gallery invites the public to Reception, a photography exhibition by Marcin Sz + Ian Jones. Curated by Komlaish Achall.

For August Digbeth First Friday Stryx invites the public to Reception, a photography exhibition by Marcin Sz + Ian Jones. Curated by Komlaish Achall.

Noise and silence.
Crowd and loneliness. Two photographers.
Two viewpoints. Two forms.
Dualism. Synergism. Reception.

Both artists have an established connection with the gallery and were involved in work with Stryx over the last few years. To celebrate this successful relationship between the artists and the gallery Reception exhibition will also work as a fundraising event to support Stryx in it's commitment to deliver a strong, engaging and high quality programme between the months of October and December 2017.
Reception opening will consist of a tombola lottery during which you will be able to win many prizes, including prints of artists work and a photo-shoot from Marcin Sz! The closing event will consist of a art work sale as part of the fundraising scheme.
