Barnsley Hospice would like to invite you to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one as a gift in honour of a friend or relative.
Our Christmas trees in St Mary's Church and here at Barnsley Hospice will bear hundreds of twinkling lights, each one representing the life of someone special.
Each name will be recorded in our Book of Blessings which will then be placed in St Mary's Church and also here at the Hospice. The books will be displayed over the Christmas period and the lights will shine until the Twelfth Night.
Dedicating a light is a beautiful way to remember family and friends.
The trees will be illuminated at our special Light Up A Life Services.
There will be two religious services at St Mary's Church, Barnsley on Sunday 4th December at 3.30pm and 7pm and a non-religious service at Barnsley Hospice on Thursday 8th December at 7pm. This is an outdoor event so please dress accordingly.
You're invited to join us at any of our services and afterwards for coffee and mince pies.
