Sophie Willan and Bobby Mair: Edinburgh Previews Theatre & Performing Arts

In 2015 powerhouse Sophie Willan’s refreshing
comic style took her to several competition finals
including the Magners New Comedian of the Year,
where she was crowned the winner. Both brutally
honest and gloriously unpredictable, Sophie’s
stand up takes inspiration from her unusual life
experiences, which makes for a razor sharp and
totally authentic comic voice. A force to be reckoned
with, she exudes confidence and northern charm.

In 2016 Sophie’s took her debut stand up show On
Record, based on her experiences of growing up
in and out of the care system, to the Edinburgh
Fringe Festival. A total sell out run and phenomenal
critical acclaim followed securing Sophie’s place
one of the most exciting rising stars in British
Comedy.

Bobby Mair: Preview

Bobby Mair is a Canadian stand up comedian
currently writing this bio. He has been doing
comedy for 11 years and currently lives in London.
He is best known for reading the Internet to Julian
Assange through a megaphone and trolling Katie
Hopkins by appearing on her show then giving his
appearance fee to everyone she hates. He has
appeared twice at the Just For Laughs Festival,
starred in his own webseries for Comedy Central
called The Bobby Mair Show, and appeared in
many television shows.

He has done three hours shows at The Edinburgh
Fringe. He was in Dave's Top 10 Jokes
