Neil Ruddock & Kevin Keegan : Defend & Attack 2017 Miscellaneous

We are also delighted to announce that we will be raising money to help an amazing little girl Ruby Hemsley get the wheelchair she requires.
Danielle - Ruby's Mum has said:

"My daughter Ruby is 8 years old and she has Williams syndrome, because of this Ruby has complex medical, physical and learning needs.
Ruby has had major surgery on her heart 3 times in the first 6 months of her life, whilst suffering from gut dysmotility and reflux disease.
Ruby's problems effect her everyday life, daily Ruby rely's on a feeding tube to meet her nutritional needs, Ruby is often ill because of her medical needs and requires hospital treatment regularly.
Ruby is fed via a feeding pump that needs to be in a bag because of Ruby's weakened muscles due to Williams syndrome. Ruby is unable to wear the bag on her back, she is also unable to have a feed at night due to her reflux, the milk could back up and then go on her lungs so it's important that Ruby is as upright as possible when on her feed at the moment it is for 10 hours a day.
So for ruby it is vital she has a wheelchair she can use outdoors, at school and when she's ill and can not physically walk so needs it more then.
Ruby at the moment has a wheelchair that we self fund raised for, however she is getting taller and needs the next size in the next 6 to 12 months
Sadly the wheelchair from the NHS is far too heavy for ruby to self propel herself so for a child like Ruby is very frustrating as she requires a lightweight chair.
So for Ruby to have the best quality of life it's essential she has a wheelchair that meets her needs..."
