Still the Enemy Within is a unique insight into one of history's most dramatic events: the 1984-85 British Miners' StrikeNo expertsNo politiciansForty years on, this is the raw first-hand experience of those who lived through Britain's longest strikeFollow the highs and lows of that life-changing year

This film screening will be followed by a live Q+A with Joanna Gilmore (York Law School), Mike Simons (Executive Producer, Still the Enemy Within; Author of The Great Strike: Miners' Strike of 1984-85 and Its Lessons) and others

Organised by York Law School with funding from the British Academy and the Leverhulme TrustSupported by York City Unison and York TUC
