York Does Vintage Exhibitions

Set in the Grade 1 listed Merchant Adventurers, expect two floors of vintage stalls and live music!

Not only do we fill the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall with a vast array of stunning, handpicked vintage – we also ensure that our customers experience a really fun and interesting day out! shoppers can while away their day at the vintage tearoom whilst nattering to friends and family, get glammed up in our vintage beauty bar which represents everything glamorous and special from the fabulous 20s flapper to the sweetheart 50s and beehive bouffant 60s, or even tap your feet to our vintage acts on the day – whether they be a classic Andrew Sisters trio, funky rockabilly bands or even up-beat bands mixing old with new.

The idea of purveying vintage items and immersing yourself in forgotten traditions, trades, experiences and ways of life seems to tie in perfectly with York’s historic background and adds another dimension to tourists looking for culture, history and bespoke attractions – features which York has become very well known for.

Our York vintage fair is one of our largest vintage fairs and is set in the 14th Century Merchant Adventurers’ Hall! A building which symbolises York’s colourful past. We enjoy filling this fair will vintage stalls representing everything which was great about past era’s, all the way from the 1920s up to the 80s!

We try and keep our prices as affordable as possible to tie in with the vintage ethos of affordability and sustainability, so all our fairs are just £2 (or just £1 with a Britain Does Vintage card).
