From Rossetti to Hockney, there is a diverse range of pieces at the Walker including contemporary art and work from as far back as the 13th century.The Walker Art Gallery is the national gallery of the North. For 130 years it has housed Liverpools most outstanding art collection. Many of the gallerys most important works have been on display in the city for nearly 200 years.The history of the gallery and its collection reflects the people of Liverpools commitment to and appreciation of the arts.
