Osterley Park House Houses
National Trust property in West London, with a Robert Adam house set in acres of beautiful parkland and farmland. The first house on this site was a manor house built for Sir Thomas Gresham, of Royal Exchange fame, and the stable block dates from this time. After many years it fell into disrepair, and the property was acquired by Francis Child.
A fine Tudor house transformed into a neo-classical villa in the 18th century by Robert Adam, it is at the heart of a fine estate of woods, lakes and fields. The beautiful grounds, which include formal gardens, meadow and classical garden buildings, are home to a wide range of animals and plants, including a host of unusual varieties of trees.
