Canonteign Falls Outdoors
At Canonteign Falls we try to make your dreams come true! This breathtaking combination of waterfalls and cascades is situated in the beautiful Teign Valley, home to England's highest waterfall, dropping almost vertically for almost 220 feet and tumbling on down through a spectacular combination of massive rock formations and ancient woodland to the tranquil lakes far below.
People say there is something special, almost magical about Canonteign Falls. Enjoy the unspoilt nature trails winding their way through the woods, past the Secret Garden, Devil's Leap and The Victorian Fern Garden, up on to Buzzards View, or just amble amongst the five lakes around the Wetland Nature Reserve.
Afterwards, relax in the licensed lakeside restaurant or cafe/barbeque centre and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal or just a snack followed by mouthwatering Devonshire Farmhouse Ice Cream; alternatively just browse through the extensive gift shop while the kids enjoy the Junior Commando Assault Course and play areas.
Please note that footpaths are steep in places, wear suitable footwear. .
