2013 Glastonbury headliners 'sorted' NEWS
Michael Eavis confirms that the headliners for 2013 Glasto have been 'sorted'
Glastonbury festival organiser Michael Eavis appeared on BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat and confirmed that he had already booked his festival headliners for 2013.
Glastonbury is taking its customary year off as it does every five years, but that hasn't stopped the festival organiser from making sure that the headliners have been booked for next year's festival.
Although he has confirmed that the bands were 'already sorted' Michael Eavis gave no clues as to who the bill toppers were going to be.
The 76 year old farmer also spoke about his plans to make Glasto's 50th anniversary in 2020 a very special occasion. 2010 saw Michael Eavis celebrate the festival's 40th year by singing 'Happy Birthday' on stage with Stevie Wonder.

These comments come as a surprise to festival fans as last year Eavis said that festivals are on their last legs, claiming that Glastonbury has 'probably got another three or four years' before festival goers get bored.
Michael Eavis said that the market is now saturated with annual festivals up and down the country, and with rising tuition fees and cheaper alternatives people will be thinking twice before shelling out on expensive weekend festivals.
With this in mind, Michael Eavis' U-turn is a total surprise to the music world, when he said 'I'm really determined somehow or other to make the 50 years - I don't see why I shouldn't make it. Strangely enough, I do feel incredibly fit. I don't see why I shouldn't make it. I've got bands who want to play and the people who want to buy tickets so why shouldn't we carry on?'
These comments come before he was honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the European Festival Awards in Holland last night (Wednesday 11 Jan).
