Asking Alexandria is a British metal core band that has their roots in Dubai, one of the most unlikely locations to serve as a starting point for such a band. Their founder Ben Bruce later dissolved the band in 2008 only to reincarnate it with different members later on in England. As of late 2008 the group released their first album and began touring, the sounds of the two bands is said to be dramatically different. Reckless and Relentless was the first album released by the group and makes it a point to showcase their unique ability to tap into the emotions of their listeners. Shows are often very frenetic and emotionally charged, this is indeed a band that is not scared to encourage and share in some of the darker emotions that are out there with the crowd.
