Formerly known as Horses, Bridwell Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds and Creighton Barrett are now collectively called as Band of Horses.

In 2004, Ben Bridwell formed this American rock group.This Indie rock, Southern rock and alternative country waited for 6 years to be recognized by the critics. In 2010, their self - produced album Infinite Arms was nominated in the Grammy Awards. At this point, they have already released 4 albums. Aside from Infinite Arms, they also came up with Everything All the Time (2006), Cease to Begin (2007) and Mirage Rock (2012).A lot of TV shows, movies, advertisements and video games have used their first single from their first album - The Funeral. The band perofrmed this song in the Late Show with David Letterman in July 2006. Another song that made a makr was Life on Earth from the Infinite Arms album. This song became a part of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack.The music world witnessed the birth, triumphs and changes of Band of Horses. Band members may have left and new ones came and stayed. But whatever hapens next, this band will continue to give what their fans deserve - great music.
