The American singer songwriter Brian McKnight is a who can play an amazing 9 instruments.

His music career started in 1987 when he signed a record deal with Warner Bothers with his band Take 6 which he started with his older brother Claude McKnight III. This record deal gave him the confidence to persevere with a solo career and by the time he was 19 McKnight had signed his own record deal with Wing Records a subsidiary of Mercury records. The last album released under Mercury was in 1997 called 'Anytime' and was nominated for a Grammy Award and sold over 2 million copies. In 1998 the singer signed with Motown and a year later he released his most successful album to date 'Back At One', which sold over 3 million copies. Most recently Brian McKnight has sung the National Anthem at the MLB Opening Day in Cincinnati on 31 March 2011 and has hosted The Brian McKnight Morning Show on KTWV The Wave in LA USA.
