'The Rifles' are a British hard-rock band that stem from Chingford, London.
Bursting on to the indie scene in 2006, with their critically acclaimed debut album "No Love Lost", produced by Ian Broudie of 'The Lightning Seeds', the album went on to be a critical and commercial success. They followed this up in 2009 with "The Great Escape", which took a much grander and epic approach to their sound, not to mention more than 3 years worth of recording time.
'The Rifles' third album "Freedom Run" was released in late 2011. The band are set to support the album with a string of UK tour dates kicking off on the 24th of March in Southend. The tour will see the band rock the width and breadth of the UK, culminating in a home-coming show at 'The Troxy' in London, on the 31st of March. The gig is sure to be packed full of songs from 'The Rifles' brief, yet outstanding, back catalogue. Definitely one not to be missed.
