The oldest tennis tournament in the world, The Championships Wimbledon takes place around the end of June/beginning of July, and is considered to be the most prestigious.
Played on grass, this sporting event is watched by millions worldwide. Tickets are made available by a public ballot that the All England Club holds at the beginning of each year, and successful applicants are chosen at random. As the only Grand Slam tournament where fans can queue up to buy seats on the Centre Court, it means a long overnight wait in the queue. However, general admission tickets, which give access to the outer courts are available.
BritEvents compares ticket prices for Wimbledon from many of the reputable ticket companies, including Ticketmaster, Viagogo, Seatwave and GetMeIn so you don't have to trawl the web finding the cheapest tickets.
