The SubWoofers Music Festival Family Events

The SubWoofers Music Festival is family-friendly! It's dog-friendly! It's deaf-friendly!

Family-friendly. With a magician, face painter and storytellers, it's a brilliant day out for everyone. The kids can go 'Ahhh!' at the magic and stories, and granny can get her face painted.
Attractions and rides*. Bump those bumper cars, or bounce on the inflatables, just make sure you plan your food and drink wisely! Alternatively, applaud the circus acts or chill out with yoga... nice...
Food and drink*. We weren't sure what food you'd like, so we booked it all! Pizza, paella, fish & chips, cakes, crêpes, chicken, samosas, snacks, sweets – with hot drinks and a bar to wash it all down.
Dog-friendly. Dogs are part of the family! We have a dog activity area, and traders selling doggy accessories and treats. We also have plenty of dog-lovers waiting to make them feel welcome.
Deaf-friendly. Deaf people can enjoy the day with BSL interpreters and speech-to-text displays. To protect against hearing loss, hearing people also receive a FREE set of earplugs.
Live music. We've booked bands such as Skasouls UK and The Horn Division, and singer/songwriters such as James Mullally, Dolly Mavies, James Kennedy and Nick Byrne.
The Silent Child. We will be showing special screenings of the Oscar-winning film The Silent Child!
* Please note: food, drinks and rides are not included in the entry price
Why SubWoofers? At Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, we believe that no one with deafness should feel lonely. This is why we train dogs that help deaf people lead full lives through constant companionship, and alerting them to sounds they cannot hear. When you come to SubWoofers, every penny you spend will help us train more amazing dogs – and help more deaf people leave loneliness behind.
