Top stand up comedy at South London's stylish Hideaway Comedy Club with Robert White, Thom Tuck and Windsor, plus 2 For 1 Cocktails!
ROBERT WHITE:
"Very Funny fantastic oddball ..... A funny and brave act that exists in the hitherto unmapped space between the music hall comedies of Noel Gay, and autistic savantism" Timeout.
'Robert White, probably – no definitely – the only asperger, dyslexic, cross lateral, gay, quarter-welsh, webbed toed comedian the circuit’ The Guardian.
After graduating in music, Robert White spent eight years doing various jobs before trying comedy in 2004. He was finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act Of The Year competition in 2006 and in 2010 won the Malcolm Hardee award for comic originality at the Edinburgh Festival.
'Robert White is an extraordinary talent, or maybe an extraordinary person. Maybe both...... rude songs, appalling puns and outrageous jokes all delivered by a bloke who looks vaguely reminiscent of Tintin. White, of course, gives us about a dozen minority groups for the price of none. ..... mildly terrifying, but very funny......His seemingly endless running commentary on audience reactions is quite brilliant, taking the room right to the edge of a primal scream and then dropping us in an exhausted heap......White also has an impressive ability to improvise songs. He plucks rhymes from the air with relentless accuracy, never missing a beat. This is a show you really should see.’ Kate Copstick Aug 2014
THOM TUCK:
Thom Tuck is a comedian and actor whose breakthrough show Thom Tuck Goes Straight to DVD was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Fosters Comedy Award (2011), toured nationwide and was broadcast by the BBC. Thom found comedy success with The Penny Dreadfuls, particularly on Radio 4, where he also hosts Sketchorama. As an actor he has numerous television credits, including performances in Babylon (directed by Danny Boyle) and Drifters (both Channel 4).
WINDSOR:
A well known face at Covent Garden and winner of 5 street performance awards, including Best Comedy Act, and having performed all over the world, Windsor is a first class act.
