A backstage battle between former lovers Fred Graham and Lilli Vanessi spills on to stage as they mount a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew. And just when things couldn't get worse, up pop a pair of gangsters who want to share the limelight! Cole Porter's classic musical comedy is brimming over with some of musical theatre's greatest songs, including Too Darn Hot and Brush Up Your Shakespeare.
Darren Lawrence trained as an actor at Central School Of Speech and Drama and was most recently seen in Russell T. Davies' critically acclaimed Cucumber for Channel 4. He has directed at Mountview for over 10 years.
