New Comedy Night Launches in Stoke-on-Trent.
Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at various venues all over the country, is excited to announce the launch of their brand new comedy night at The Birches Head, Stoke-on-Trent.
Funhouse Comedy Clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to fame and fortune include Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world."
Headlining the launch will be the compelling and frank Daliso Chaponda who hails from Malawi, where his father is a government minister. He started his comedy career in Canada with the much-admired one man show ‘Feed This Black Man'. With the ability to talk about anything from politics and religion to romance, he amuses his audiences with his distinctive accent and unique outlook on the world.
Also appearing is the unique and bizarrely talented Roger Swift, with his laugh a minute gags, Simon Wozniak with his inimitable and no holds barred opinions on everyday life and comic, blogger and gangsta rapper Moses Ali Khan.
Completing the line-up will be Dave Pollard with his punch line packed chatter and Theresa Farlow with her clever jokes and amiable nature.
