The story and history of man’s other best friend – the horse – is interwoven with that of mankind for over 35 thousand years.
From the small pit ponies to the great carthorse, throughout time the horse has been there and until quite recently it pulled our world. An engine’s capacity is still described in horse power. But how did the horse develop and where and how did we end up with so many different breeds of horse? We will be looking at the social nature of the horse its development and interaction with humankind.
