RADIO AND TV STARS COME TO BIRMINGHAM BRAMALL
Bramall Comedy Night in association with Funhouse Comedy brings another great night of laughter to The Bramall, University of Birmingham.
Headlining is the charismatic and highly talented Sony Award winner, Tom Wrigglesworth; comedian, Radio and TV presenter and voice-over artist who has had two series’ on BBC Radio 4. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they’re old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion always captivate his audiences.
Supporting will be the diminutive Andy Askins, who has appeared on BBC1’s The John Bishop Show; his air of vulnerability and innocent child-like qualities mislead the crowd heightening the impact of his killer lines. With his guitar and his wickedly dry sense of humour he enthrals everybody with an eclectic mix of offbeat comical songs and parodies. A talented musician with an appealing voice and cheeky magnetism, he never fails to leave his mark.
Compere for the night is the effortlessly endearing storyteller, Freddy Quinne with his seemingly endless supply of laughter-laced laconic observations.
