Availability: Selected Saturdays from mid February to October. Weather: The weather shouldn't affect this experience. Duration: Your experience will last for six to seven hours. Numbers On Day: There will be up to ten people taking part. Spectators: This experience isn't suitable for spectators, but for a small charge guests can visit the venue from 10.30am (£10 adults or £5 children), which also includes a falconry display at 11.30am. Dress Code: Dress for the outdoors and wear wellies or walking boots, plus a warm coat in winter. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is very bad. If you have a camera or a pair of binoculars, bring them along. Guidelines: The centre at Batsford Park is entered via a long private drive signposted Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre, 1.25 miles from Moreton-in-Marsh on the A44 Evesham Road. M40 Southbound, exit junction 11, follow the A361 then join the A44. M5 Southbound, exit junction 6 onto the A44. M40 Northbound, exit junction 8a onto the A40 and then the A44. M5 Northbound, exit junction 11A to the A436 and A429 until the A44. Restrictions: Minimum age is 15. Disabled customers are welcome (please advise us at point of booking), but unfortunately this experience isn't suitable for wheelchair users. Other Info: Please note that dogs are not permitted on-site. This venue is one of the largest bird of prey centres in the country, with around 130 fascinating birds on display.

You'll spend a full day at the centre, finding out all about the birds and getting time to experience falconry first-hand. Tour the centre, where you'll get up close to different species and learn what makes a hawk a hawk, a falcon a falcon and an owl an owl. Get expert tuition and take time to handle the birds so that you get comfortable with one another. Then try it yourself and fly a bird over open countryside, watching them show off their skills and getting some thrills medieval-style when a top predator comes into land on your glove. Lunch and refreshments are included.
