Aziz Ansari is 'Buried Alive' in the UK

Us comic and actor Aziz Ansari confirmed his biggest UK show to date at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 15 June. The show 'Buried Alive' promises an evening of bewilderment and disillusion and is fresh off the back of his US tour.

Two years ago, the US standup comic and actor gave five side splitting gigs at London's Soho Theatre, this will be Aziz Ansari's first UK appearance since then.

So Kili Live are thrilled to announce Aziz Ansari's return to the UK on 15 June at Hammersmith Apollo.

Quickly establishing himself in the comedy world, Aziz is currently in the popular Emmy nominated television series 'Parks & Recreation' opposite Amy Poehler.

The Hollywood Reporter said that he 'has become one of the most prolific writers and performers on the comedy scene in recent years'.

Rolling Stone placed him on the cover of a special comedy issue labeling him: #quote#'the funniest man under 30'.#/quote#

Ansari is also keeping busy in the film world. He'll next voice a character in the Twentieth Century Fox animated film 'Epic' and soon to be seen in 'This Is The End' opposite Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and James Franco. Additionally, he appeared in Universal's 'Funny People'.

Other film credits include 'Get Him To The Greek' alongside Russell Brand, Johan Hall and Sean 'Diddy' Combs. He's also had roles in the hit comedies 'I Love You Man' 'Observe and Report', and voiced a character in the Twentieth Century Fox animated film 'Ice Age: Continental Drift'.

He has become a regular on the late night circuit with memorable appearances on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'.

He recently released his second hour-long stand-up special 'Dangerously Delicious'.

Ansari first came to public attention on MTV's hit sketch comedy series, 'Human Giant'. He also had a very memorable guest-starring role on HBO's 'Flight of the Conchords', in which he portrayed a racist fruit vendor and was seen in a multi-episode on 'Scrubs'.
