Antiques for Everyone, the UK's biggest antiques fair outside London, will be the perfect hunting round for inspirational Christmas gifts having moved its usual November date to December. A stunning display of regimental silver from the British army's most battle honoured regiment will form the centre piece of this winter fair. beside around 250 dealers displaying antique and decorative furnature, treen, ceramics, kitchenalia, silver, glass, jewellery and works of art, arms and armour, maps, dolls and bears and an array of vintage and decorative collectables.

Antiques for Everyone, the UKs biggest antiques, interiors and collectables fair outside of London, has moved from its usual November date to December so there will be a festive feel to the event which takes place from 4th to 7th December at the NEC Birmingham.

The fair is one of the most important and comprehensive showcases in Britain for pottery, porcelain and glass collectors and also houses around 250 dealers who will be displaying and selling antique and decorative furniture, treen, ceramics, kitchenalia, silver, glass, jewellery, and works of art, arms and armour, maps, dolls and bears and an array of vintage and decorative collectables.

A stunning display of regimental silver from the British Armys most battle honoured regiment will form the centrepiece of this winters fair. The Soldiers of Gloucester Museum will be bringing silverware, trophies, medals and flags from the Gloucestershire Regiment formed in 1694.

The Glorious Glosters were awarded the unique honour of wearing The Back Badge, a cap badge worn on both the front and back of their headdress for gallantry shown when fighting back to back at the Battle of Alexandria in 1801. The display will feature items from the last 320 years of the regiments history.

The fairs manager Dan Leyland said: We are very excited and honoured to be hosting this feature from such an illustrious and historic regiment. There is growing interest in all things militaria and this is particularly timely given that this is the centenary year of the First World War. Regimental silver is particularly important in that each piece has a story to tell.

The fair is the perfect hunting ground for inspirational Christmas gifts and has something for everyone with items starting from 10 and rising to 100,000s for serious collectors or interior designers. Visitors can buy with confidence because all items for sale are vetted by a team of leading industry experts.

The fairs popular specialists Judith Miller and Mark Hill will be giving talks and offering top tips on whats hot and why as well as chatting to visitors about their favourite items.
