Danny Cipriani, fly half for the Sale Sharks has been admitted to hospital last night after beeing hit by a bus in Leeds city centre. The Rugby Union star is understood to be suffering from concussion and has undergone X-rays.

25 year-old Rugby Union ace, Danny Cipriani was admitted to hospital last night after being hit by a double-decker bus in Leeds.

The fly half for the Sale Sharks was kept in hospital over night where he has undergone a number of x-rays and scans.

Danny, who is currently in a relationship with Celebrity Juice star Kelly Brook, is thought to have been on a pub crawl around Leeds City Centre, when he darted in front of a double-decker bus.

An ambulance was called to the scene after the bus screeched to a halt as the windscreen shattered when Cirpriani was hit.

James Williamson, Danny's manager told the Sun last night:#quote#Danny's spending the night in Hospital. X-rays and scans will be carried out overnight. He's obviously in pain. He was running across the road and just misjudged the speed of the bus.#/quote#

It has been reported that Cipriani was on an annual night out with the rest of his team mates, who are believed to have visited over 16 pubs, and were just finishing the infamous Otley Run Pub Crawl before the horrific accident.

The Sharks have just one game left of the season which will be against the London Wasps on 4 May 2013.
