Kate's 'topless' photographer to be arrested

The paparazzi photographer who took topless and bottomless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge whilst she holidayed with her husband Prince William in France earlier this year, is reportedly to be arrested by French Police.

The photographer, who took topless and bottomless photos of Kate Middleton whilst she holidayed in the South of France with her husband Prince William, has allegedly been identified and is to be arrested by French Police.

It is believed that the French paparazzi photographer took over 200 snaps of the naked Duchess whilst on holiday at Viscount Linley's French retreat this September.

The photos of Kate were initially published in French magazine, Closer, but the identity of the photographer has not been made public. But critics have reportedly said that the culprit could be the French Photographer Valarie Suau nicknamed 'sewer', who has admitted taking the photos but has denied releasing the inappropriate ones to the media.

Ms. Suah, who has worked with a number of big news agencies throughout Europe, was reportedly named in the evidence by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's lawyersearlierthis year, where Prince William is said to have called for the photographer to be jailed.

It is believed that French law allows for a jail sentence for anyone who snaps topless or inappropriate photos of Kate Middleton, although French law views photographers as 'journalistic contacts', and are therefore protected from being identified.

During an interview with the Daily Mail, a source has confirmed:#quote#'A name has been offered. The photographer is expected to be held for questioning imminently.'#/quote#

The editor of the French magazine Closer, had previously stated that Kate Middleton and Prince William had overreacted to the photographs. She added that the photos were not at all degrading and that they showed a pretty woman very much in love with her husband.
